The thinnest flat bread of Indian origin…mainly Punjab…and of course Pakistan…In hotels you get the thinnest rumal (kerchief) like flatbread..That is how the name came…it was always a wonder ..Now you search for any recipe and it is there …and the recipe is shown perfectly so you understand well enough to make it once in a while…The bread  is made with mainly white flour..Now people are trying to have gluten free dishes…Still a delicacy to have once in a while…goes well with any meat dishes..or even veg dishes…Here we had it with potato masala..

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Add salt and oil to maida. Mix well and add warm milk just enough to make a soft dough.
  2. Knead well until soft and pliable apply some oil to prevent drying and keep this covered for 30 minutes with a wet cloth.
  3. After 30 minutes make small balls out of the dough, dust the board with flour, roll out each balls into thin roties and keep aside.
  4. Heat tawa, when piping hot cook the roties until cooked on both sides.
  5. Remove from tawa, fold like kerchief and serve hot with meat or veg dishes.
  6. Since my tawa was big enough, used the tawa like chapati and made the dish.
