Global warming combined with heat wave is affecting most parts of the world..Heat drains you of the water and electrolytes from your body…and we have to replete it with enough water in the form of juices and salads…Melons contain 70 to 80% water content and is a good source of vitamin and minerals…a good laxative and prevents dehydration…include fruits containing more water in your diet to fight heat…I combined cucumber, pomegranate and muskmelon to give the cumulative effect to fight against dehydration..

Instructions
  1. Halve the melon with a knife and with a spoon scoop out the flesh and keep aside.
  2. Deseed the pomegranate and keep aside the seeds.
  3. Cut cucumber into small cubes and keep aside.
  4. In a wide bowl combine the melon flesh, cucumber, pomegranate seeds, lime juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and mint leaves and toss well to combine.
  5. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and have.
  6. A healthy salad to have in hot weather.
