Now it is mango season and we have to utilize the maximum of mango in different dishes...A summer dessert with a combination of mango, basil ( sabja) seeds, falooda sev and the sweetened milk...flavored with mango pooree and use whatever fruits are available...It is always good to add more fruits in summer to replenish the water content...Here I added pomegranate..and for the flavor nannari syrup..and a scoop of vanilla ice cream...

Instructions
  1. Wash and soak the basil seeds in water, soak for 1 hour, drain the water and keep the soaked seeds aside.
  2. Cook the sev in water until soft, strain the water and keep aside the cooked sev.
  3. To make custard milk, boil the milk, when starts boiling add the custard powder dissolved in water and boil again until thick, add sugar and once cool refrigerate.
  4. Take two glasses. In each one first add the nannari syrup. On top of this add the soaked basil seeds, then the mango pooree, cooked sev on top of this.
  5. Now repeat the same process with basil seeds, sev and mango pooree, add the mango pieces on top of this.
  6. Now pour the cool custard milk on top, add the pomegranate to garnish and a scoop of ice cream and serve chill.
