The same dish I made during Ganesh Chathurthi..But there I used milk and sugar instead of coconut milk and jaggery…here I used palm sugar to make it more healthier..A guilt-free dessert that can be enjoyed without your conscience pricking…

Instructions
  1. Boil water with salt, when boiling add the rice flour to the boiling water and stir with a wooden spatula.
  2. When warm enough to handle the dough add the ghee and knead well to a soft and pliable dough.
  3. Make very small balls out of this dough and keep aside.
  4. Boil the thin milk of coconut with dissolved and strained palm sugar.
  5. When boiling add the rice balls slowly without breaking.
  6. Let this boil without disturbing with the ladle.
  7. Boil in low flame until the balls come on top.
  8. Now mix the thick coconut milk with corn flour and add to the boiling mixture and stir to prevent lumps from forming.
  9. This gets little thickened.
  10. Now add cardamom powder and ginger powder and switch off the flame.
  11. Serve warm or cold as you wish.
