Since summer is in full swing our only solace is fruits and vegetables in juice and salad forms …It is always advised to eat light and have plenty of water to replenish the water lost…
An easy to make salad…umpteen benefits..a good antioxidant,,,This crunchy earthy sweet salad is a whole meal in itself with all the nutrients with the minty lemony flavour. Very cooling to your system to fight heat and microbes…
Papaya is a tropical fruit. This sunny fruit is rich in vitamins, antioxidants and minerals and a good laxative. An ideal fruit to have during summer..a wholesome meal in itself. The enzyme papain in this fruit is powerful digestive aid and antioxidant. Add any fruits of your choice. I had only semi ripe papaya. Even ripe papaya can be used, in fact it will be more tastier.
Global warming combined with heat wave is affecting most parts of the world..Heat drains you of the water and electrolytes from your body…and we have to replete it with enough water in the form of juices and salads…Melons contain 70 to 80% water content and is a good source of vitamin and minerals…a good laxative and prevents dehydration…include fruits containing more water in your diet to fight heat…I combined cucumber, pomegranate and muskmelon to give the cumulative effect to fight against dehydration..
A delicious, nutritious one pot meal with all the necessary ingredients for nourishment. Shrimp gives that exotic taste to the dish. Here I used jeera sampa rice to get the rich flavor. Any thin raw rice variety can be used for this dish.
Since winter is approaching and rain continues, the best soup to fight cold and develop immunity. Carrot and tomato complement each other giving the sweet and tangy taste.
Now that summer is in full swing the most refreshing salad
I am obsessed with spring onion as there is plenty in my fridge and unable to make out what my husband likes, he is a bad fan of green veggies… so thought of making this simple green omelette….quite tasty though!!!
A refreshing salad.
