Lady’s Finger or Okra crispy fry…this is equivalent to non-veg…when you don’t have non-veg dishes Okra helps you to not feel the absence of a non-veg with the rice…When you add the spices and corn flour the texture and taste changes giving you the tastiest dish possible…I don’t like the usual lady’s finger fry as it is a little soggy..This preparation is quite tasty and crispy also..

  1. Wash the lady's finger and wipe well to dry and cut each one into long strips and keep aside. Grind the garlic and curry leaves to a paste. Mix this with the cut lady's finger along with chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, soy sauce and corn flour and mix well and keep aside. Heat oil in a nonstick frying pan so that the masala will not get stuck in the bottom of the pan. When oil becomes piping hot reduce heat and fry the marinated okra in small batches leaving enough space to get fried without getting stuck together. Fry until all sides are evenly cooked and golden in color. Serve hot with rice.
