A delicious, nutritious one pot meal with all the necessary ingredients for nourishment. Shrimp gives that exotic taste to the dish. Here I used jeera sampa rice to get the rich flavor. Any thin raw rice variety can be used for this dish.
An authentic stew preparation with prawns mainly by Malabar people. We use coconut milk and green chilies to get that authentic taste. Goes well with appam, idiyappams dosa, idly and rice varieties. Since not very spicy, those who does not like spicy food also is definitely going to like this dish.
Everyday idly becomes boring except for my husband who likes idly even three times in a day. For a change made this burger out of idly and was a hit. He took it to office for lunch instead of rice and all liked it. This is a very good lunch idea for kids who are picky eaters.
