An ultimate comfort drink to nullify the ailments of stomach and sinus infection…Taste-wise also very comforting…kids also are going to love this when you add in some cooked pasta or noodles…Here I made plain clear soup…This is usually made with chicken bones…but add some chicken mince and you get something to bite when having the soup…Have with toasted bread slices…This is my mom’s recipe where she never used any garam masala…

  1. Pressure cook the chicken bones with ginger, garlic with enough water for 10 minutes.
  2. When the pressure settles down, open the cooker, strain the stock and keep aside.
  3. Heat ghee and fry shallots until golden brown, to this add the chicken stock, pepper powder and salt.
  4. Bring to boil to combine and serve hot with toasted bread.
  5. A healthy clear soup to clear your sinuses and boost your immunity.
Recipe Notes

If you want to avoid ghee, can omit adding fried shallots and serve as is. Add the favourite vegetables of your choice to enhance nutritional benefits.
