Usually we make puri on a Sunday as there is enough time to digest and for making..This Sunady I made beetroot puri…I have checked different types of puris and this I thought as a novel idea…A good way of eating beetroot who hates it…the color itself is good enough to fall in love with the puris…Kids are going to love this dish…

  1. Grate the beetroot and grind finely with very little water to a paste. In a bowl mix the beetroot puree, salt, and atta, if too dry sprinkle water accordingly, usually the puree will be enough for wetting the dough. Knead well to a soft dough and keep aside for 10 minutes. Make small lemon sized balls out of this dough, flatten into puri and deep fry in oil until both sides are cooked and puffed up. Serve with potato masala or dish of your choice. Puris are even good as is, as the taste will be good when you fry it. Have tasty, healthy, delicious soft puris...
