  1. Clean the chicken and marinate in turmeric powder, pepper powder and salt and keep aside for 30 minutes minimum.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add the finely cut onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic and curry leaves and until onion is translucent.
  3. Add the marinated chicken to this, mix well and cook in low flame covered.
  4. No need of adding water. Chicken gets cooked in the water released from the chicken when cooking.
  5. Cook until soft and the water dries up and the chicken piece are coated with the masala.
  6. Spicy pepper chicken is ready to serve with rice or any Indian roties.
